Jenny Jolene Rasey, age 51, of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away the afternoon of June 2, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA. Born March 18, 1971, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of Charles K. and Jeannette (Zona) Rasey. Jenny was a graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech. She attended Salem International University where she was enrolled in their equestrian program. Jenny worked as a substitute postal service clerk at various locations, including The Villa Maria. She worked in collections, for over 20 years, most recently employed by First National Bank. Jenny loved cooking, gardening, canning, foraging, and fishing. She had a deep passion for horses, but what gave her the most joy in life, was spending time with her grandsons. Survivors include her companion of over 20 years, Gerald "Jerry" Black of Pulaski, PA; mother, Jeannette Rasey of Pulaski, PA; one step-daughter, Miranda Barnes; two step-brothers, David (Linda) Rasey of Arizona, and Bryan (Pam) Rasey of South Carolina; two step-sisters, Sharon Giancola of New Castle, PA, and Elaine (Gary) Roland of Front Royal, VA; two aunts, Patricia (Andrew) Demko of New Castle, PA, and Cheryl (Phil) Vanasco of Wampum, PA; one uncle, John (Jean) Zona of Wampum, PA; two beloved grandchildren, Jaxson Nikolas Rasey and Jayden Nikolas Rasey; three step-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jenny was preceded in death by her father, Charles K. Rasey, one son, Nikolas D. Rasey, one aunt, JoAnn Zona, and stepson Matthew Colich. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
