Jessie H. Wilt, 74, formerly of Blews Way, passed away the morning of June 7, 2011 at Emeritus Senior Living Community in Latrobe, PA.Born December 22, 1936, in Erie, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Antoinette Thompson Haller. Jessie graduated from Edinboro High School. She pursued higher education while attending Slippery Rock University, Edinboro University, and Thiel College, where she graduated with a master's degree. She was a school teacher and librarian for the New Castle Area School System for over 36 years, retiring in 1998. Jessie volunteered at The Shenango Home, Meals on Wheels, Recovery, Inc. Mental Health Group and Contact E.A.R.S. Helpline College Club. She was a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church. She served her church family as an elder, deacon, and Sunday school teacher. She was also active with the Tri M Sunday School Class.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale R. and Carolyn Wilt, of Greensburg, PA, and Dean A. and Carol Wilt, of Chapel Hill, NC; and four grandchildren, Meghan, Taylor, Mitchell and Erin.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter.Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at the funeral home. The Rev.
