Joan Marie Grossman, 81, of New Castle, passed away the night of December 16, 2021, at her residence. Born July 13, 1940, in Ellwood City, PA, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Mary M. (Fortney) Kaufman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Perry Grossman. Joan graduated from Ellwood City High School and was a nurse's aide for Silver Oaks Nursing Home for over 27 years. She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Samuel) Janacone of California and Barbara Grossman of New Castle; two sons, Samuel Grossman and David Grossman, both of New Castle; one brother, Ronald (Ann) Kaufman of Wyoming; two sisters, Nancy Pelisier of Ellwood City and Karen Kaufman of Ohio; and three grandchildren, Devin Wilkins of Boston, MA, Ryen Wilkins, and Chelsea Wilkins of New Castle.
