Joann G. Drane, 88, of Enon Valley passed away the morning of December 27, 2024, at her residence.

Born on December 14, 1936, in New Castle, she was the daughter Theodore and Amy (Fullerton) McCreary. She married Tom Drane on May 16, 1987, who survives at home.

She was a member of Westfield Presbyterian Church.

Joann was a 1954 graduate of New Castle High School. She was employed with Al Sweet Motor Sales in the parts department. She also worked as a household assistant for the Davis family for 25 years.

Along with her husband, Joann is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Jim) Leslie of Enon Valley; son, Thomas (Michell) Shaw of Newark, OH; stepdaughter, Suzanna (Rob) McDaniel of Volant; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Theodore McCreary; and two sisters, Jean Elicker and Mary Lou Williams.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Westfield Church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31st at 11:00 am at Westfield Church with Rev. Bobby Griffith, Jr. officiating.

Burial will be in Westfield Cemetery.
