Jodi L. Pensy, age 59, of New Castle, passed away the morning of Feb. 23, 2022, at her residence. Born March 20, 1962, in Ellwood City, PA, she was the daughter of Eugene and Karolina (Platzer) Gaul. Jodi was a graduate of Lincoln High School, in Ellwood City. She earned a degree as a PT Assistant, from Allegheny Community College. Jodi loved the beach and spending time with her beloved dogs, "Stuart", "Bentley", and "Apollo". Survivors include her mother, Karolina; two sons, Steven K. (Lacey) Pensy of New Castle, PA, and Derek E. Pensy of Texas; three brothers, Daniel (Cynthia) Gaul of Beaver Falls, PA, Tom (Betty) Gaul of Slippery Rock, PA, and Eric (April) Gaul of Ellwood City, PA. Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Eugene. Visitation will be held on Wed. March 2nd, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A private family service will follow immediately after visitation, with Pastor Brandon Stephenson of One Church Pittsburgh, officiating.
