Johanna H. Schuster, age 92, of New Castle, passed away the evening of June 11, 2018. Born on March 8, 1926, in Farrell, Pa., Johanna was the daughter of Michael and Regina Gunther Reinnerth. She was preceded in death on December 27, 2010 by her beloved husband, Fred J. Schuster, whom she married April 24, 1948. Johanna graduated from Farrell High School. She worked in the purchasing department, at Pentex in New Castle, for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a member of BPW. Johanna was a very active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. What gave her the most joy in life, was spending time with her family. Johanna is survived by one son; Neil M. Schuster of Lutz, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband Fred, Johanna was preceded in death by four sisters. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00 PM. Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
