John Crist, age 88, of Mt. Jackson, passed away the afternoon of Nov. 4, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Mr. Crist was born on Sept. 18, 1932, in New Castle to the late Dominic B. and Helen Crist. On August 30, 1983 he married his beloved wife of 37 years, Pamela (Donston) Crist. She survives at home. John faithfully served his county in the United States Army. He was employed by Rockwell International, as a welder. John's favorite hobby was hunting, and he was a member of the Bessemer Rod and Gun Club and SMPJ. He was of the catholic faith and was a member of St. Lucy's Church in New Castle. In addition to his wife, Pamela, John is survived by one daughter, Debbie Vokral of SChaumburg, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. In keeping with his wishes a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Pastor John Kuert of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be at Castleview Cemetery.
