John A. Proudfoot, 89, formerly of New Castle passed away the morning of August 5, 2017 at Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Boardman, Ohio.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio on February 2, 1928, he was a son of Byron and Martha Arkwright Proudfoot.
He was employed at Westinghouse as a mounter and truck driver.
Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda (Ron) McKee of New Castle, Linda Clements of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Lisa (Rob) Pagani of Monaca, Pennsylvania; one son, John (Marie) Proudfoot of Titusville, Florida; two brothers, Thomas Proudfoot of Florida and Theodore Proudfoot of Arizona; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Edward and Gene Proudfoot; and one sister, Josephine Irwin.
In keeping with Mr. Proudfoot's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
