John 'Skip' Myers, age 66, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of April 26, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Oct. 16, 1956, in New Castle, he was the son of the late John H. and Jean E. (Floyd) Myers.

Skip was a graduate of Laurel High School and Grove City College. He was the owner and operator of Myers Roofing. For over 40 years, he was the videographer for the Laurel High School athletic program. Skip enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include two sisters, Jeanie Myers, and her fiancé Tommy Isenberg, of New Castle, PA, and Jacqueline (Bob) Myers Roth, of Akron, OH; one niece, Margaret Roth of Akron, OH; and one nephew, Robert Roth of Akron, OH.

Visitation will be held on Tues. May 2nd from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at the funeral home, at 7:00 PM, with T.R. Walker officiating.

Burial will be at Neshannock Presbyterian Cemetery.
