John Jack M. Voras, age 90, of New Castle, passed away January 6, 2019, at UPMC Jameson Hospital, in New Castle. Born November 16, 1928, in New Castle, he was the son to the late Steve and Hanna (Black) Voras. He was married for 62 years to his wife, Delores J. (Passerrello) Voras, before she preceded him in death on November 30, 2017. John was enlisted in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a self employed truck driver and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Church of the Nazareen. John is survived by one daughter; Toni (William) Culley of New Castle, one granddaughter; Jackie (James) Eicher, Jr., and one great-grandchild; Jonna-Lynn Bevan. In addition to his parents and wife Delores, John was preceded in death by one brother; Steve Voras. In keeping with John's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
