Joseph C. Badger, 48, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly the morning of Dec. 30, 2014 at Jameson Hospital North. Born Jan. 4, 1966 in New Castle, he was the son of Donald B. and Louise L. Ierino Badger. He attended New Castle High School. Joseph enjoyed movies, and dogs. He liked playing bingo and going for rides in the country. He attended Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and April Badger and Donald B. and Toni Ann Badger Jr., all of New Castle; five nephews, Donald Badger III, Daniel Badger, Matthew Badger, Andrew Badger, and Michael Badger; and two nieces, Antonia Badger, and Amy Jo Badger. He was preceded in death by his father and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.on Monday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will be held immediately following visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Matthew Bupp, Celtic Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ellwood City Christian Assembly, 315 8th St., Ellwood City, PA 16117.
