Joseph Anthony Cangey passed away on June 10, 2019, at his residence. Born July 21, 1967, in New Castle, he was the son to the late Joseph W. Cangey and Mary Ann (Valle) Cangey, who survives at home. Joseph completed culinary and EMT training. He had a devotion to St. Padre Pio, was a big supporter of AA and enjoyed golfing. He was in the United States Navy and attended St. Camillius Church. He loved spending time with his family. Along with his mother, Mary Ann, Joseph is survived by one brother, Michael Alan Cangey of New Castle; two uncles, John Valle and Robert Valle; and his godmother, Charlotte Cangey. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Cangey and his godfather, Sam Cangey. There will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
