Joy Ann Bethle-Falls, 43, of 34 Meadowbrook Drive, New Castle, passed away the afternoon of February 24, 2011 at home, surrounded by her family.Born June 27, 1967 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Joseph and Muriel "Kip" Kennedy Bethle. Her mother is surviving in New Castle. Joy married Harry O. Falls on December 21, 2003.She was a graduate of Neshannock High School and was a homemaker. She attended Highland Presbyterian Church.Joy was creative in decorating, was strong willed, generous, and hardworking. She had an unparalleled zest for life which was passed on to all she met. She will always be loved and deeply missed.In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, J'ona Y. Bethle-Falls of New Castle; one son, Curtis Falls of New Castle; one brother, Joseph and wife Lynn Bethle of Myrtle Beach, SC; one nephew, Griffin Bethle, and two nieces, Serena and Ryley Bethle.She was preceded in death by her father.Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Willis Kearns and The Rev. John Wiseman will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
