Joyce Ann Dodge, age 76, of New Castle, passed away the evening of April 5, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, in Pittsburgh.

Born Feb. 11, 1947, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Mary (Johnston) Steingasser.

Joyce married Gary Michael Dodge on January 23, 1970, and they enjoyed 52 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2022.

Joyce graduated from Neshannock High School and gained employment with Liberty Mutual as an underwriter. Most of her career was as an office manager in the Lawrence County Court House in both the voter's registration and the planning conservation offices. In more recent years, she enjoyed working in the Columbia outlet store and Wendell August Forge. .

Joyce enjoyed traveling with her family to Disney World, cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska and a trip to Hawaii. She also enjoyed going to her granddaughter, Elie's, swim meets and school programs. Joyce loved being surrounded by family and friends, often dining out together.

Survivors include one son, Michael (Michele) Dodge, granddaughter Elie Dodge, nieces Jill (Jim) Smolnik, Tracy (Bill) Smith, Amy (Michael) Pavlik, Sarah Steingasser, and sister-in-law, Kathy Steingasser.

Along with her parents and husband, Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, David Steingasser.

As per Joyce's request there will be no visitation or services.
