Joyce W. Logan, 95, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of March 17, 2019 at Jameson Care Center in New Castle. Born October 19, 1923 in London, England, she was the daughter of Thomas and Winifred (Hicks) Hardy. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, John Logan and her former husband, William Koch. Joyce was a stay at home mother, taking care of her four children. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, going to the beach and valued spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Oakpointe Christian Center. She is survived by three daughters, Jane (Michael) LeClear of Novi, Michigan, Christine (Michael) Tuscano of Greensboro, North Carolina and Barbara (Ralph) Monico of New Castle; one son, John Koch of Atlanta, Georgia; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Hardy and one granddaughter, Heather Koch. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 2:00-4:00pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Saturday at 4:00 with Dr. Abel Robles from Oakpointe Christian Center officiating.
