Joyce M. Pagley, 86, of New Castle, passed away the morning of August 9, 2026, at Shenango on the Green in New Wilmington.

Born January 24, 1940, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Porter) Maloni. She was preceded in death on Dec. 23, 2020, by her beloved husband of 60 years, Paul Richman Pagley, whom she married Sept. 24, 1960.

A 1957 graduate of New Castle High School, Joyce completed her nursing degree at Jameson Memorial Hospital in 1960. She went on to gain employment for 50 years with Jameson Hospital as a registered nurse, 40 of which she worked in the Emergency Department.

Joyce was a member of St. Camillus Church in New Castle.

She is survived by one daughter, Pamela J. (Brian) Russell of North Port, Florida; a son, Paul R. (Robin) Pagley, Jr. of Austin, Texas; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Anna Pagley.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy A. Maloni.

A private service will be held for the family at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. in New Castle.

She will be laid to rest in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
