Judith A. Wellman, age 77, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Jan. 30, 2025, at Quality Life Services – New Castle.

Born Aug. 9, 1947, in Punxsutawney, PA, she was the daughter of the late Blair 'Tex' and Emogene M. (Adamson) Fetterman, Jr.

On March 14, 1970, she married her husband of 54 years, Thomas F. Wellman. He survives at home.

Judy was a 1965 graduate of New Castle High School. She worked as a dietary aid, employed by St. Francis Hospital, and most recently at Edison Manor, until her retirement. Judy enjoyed bowling, casino's and working in her yard.

Along with her husband, survivors include one son, Thomas F. Wellman, II, of New Castle, PA; sister, Barbara Goss of Butler, PA; and stepbrother, Richard Yoas of Butler, PA.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a stepsister, Cathy Hays.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
