Juliann E. Taylor, 69, of Neshannock Township, passed away at her home the afternoon of May 11, 2015. Born August 30, 1945 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Delbert and Isabelle Johnston. Surviving at their home is her husband of 43 years, J. Ross Taylor, whom she married August 30, 1971. A 1963 graduate of New Castle High School, she attended Youngstown State University. Juliann was employed as a social worker for 10 years with the Lawrence County Head Start program. She was an animal lover and was also a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Royce DeVaux Taylor, of New Castle; one brother, Delbert Johnston of Arizona; and four grandchildren, Marguerite, Genevieve, Gabrielle and Jon. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Danielle Lewis in 2014. At the request of her family, there will be no calling hours.
