Julianne 'Judy' Roper Kalcevic, age 95, of Beaver Falls, PA, passed away the afternoon of May 26, 2024, at Heritage Valley.

Born Feb. 5, 1929, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Emma C. (Majors) Richardson, Sr.

Judy was a homemaker that enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching and nature. She loved crafting and playing cards with family and friends. The most important thing to Judy was her family and she treasured the times she was able to be with them. She was a lifelong Pentecostal.

Survivors include one daughter, Darlene D. (Blaine) Cromley of Seneca, SC; four sons, Michael W. (Ann) Roper of Benton, PA, Steven M. Roper of Volant, PA, John F. (Milissa) Roper of New Castle, PA, and Jeffrey Q. (Monika) Roper of Willow Spring, NC; one sister Glenna Jean (Ralph) Cooper of New Castle, PA; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Kalcevic, one sister and seven brothers.

Visitation will be held on Thurs. May 30th from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place, at the funeral home, immediately following visitation at 6:00 PM with Rev. Rick Vogeley officiating.
