June Carl, 85, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of March 6, 2018 at her residence. Born June 24, 1932 in New Castle, the daughter of Samuel and Mageeda Abraham. She was preceded in death on October 11, 1989 by her husband of 27 years, Roger Allen Carl, whom she married August 18, 1962. June graduated from New Castle High School and was employed with Jameson Hospital for 25 years until her retirement. She was an active member of St. Elias Orthodox Church. June is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lorene and George Dean, Jr. of New Castle and one grandson, Tyler Chase Dean. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a son, David L. Carl. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at St. Elias Orthodox Church, 915 Lynn Street, New Castle. A service will take place immediately following the visitation at 4:00 p.m. at the church with Father Kevin Long officiating. Burial will be in Castle View Gardens.
