Karen Ann Baer, age 71, of New Castle, passed away the morning of June 16, 2018 at her residence. Karen was born July 19, 1946 in New Castle. Karen worked as a home health care aide. She enjoyed cooking and reading. Karen owned a restaurant, "Sophie's Cafe" in the 90's. What Karen enjoyed most in life, was spending time with her loved ones. Karen is survived by two sons; Robert Hanna of Meadville, Pa., and David Sutkowski of Oregon, one brother; Butch Kary, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Karen was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Hanna, and one daughter; Mary Graham. In keeping with Karen's wishes there will be no visitation or service.
