Karen Lee Cooper, age 62 of New Castle, passed away the early morning of Dec. 20, 2020, at her residence. Born June 8, 1958, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Benjamin Edwin and Onnalee (Strang) Cooper. Karen attended St. Anthony's School. She enjoyed crafts, collecting dollar bills, and celebrating each day as if it were her birthday. Karen loved life and loved greeting new people, quickly brightening their day. She loved to sing and was an avid fan of Elvis and Tim McGraw. She attended Washington Union Alliance Church. Karen is survived by her mother, Onnalee Cooper; one brother, Ronald (Bobbi) Cooper of Houston, TX; her sisters, Sherrie (Ron) Reno of Union Twp. PA; Darlene (Bob) Cuffman of Neshannock, PA; and Marlene (Bill) Exposito of Canton, OH; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin. Private services were held for the family. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
