Karen A. Breakiron Page, 71, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of February 24, 2016 at Jameson Hospital. Born in Connellsville, she was the daughter of Rev. Dr. Henry and Georgetta Woodward Breakiron whom preceded her in death. Karen was a 1963 graduate of Rochester High School. She married Arthur L. Page on July 20, 1979 whom survives at home. Karen was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked with the Visiting Nursing Association. She enjoyed being a foster parent, baking, cooking, and helping other people. She was a member of Johnson Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Michael Bacorn of Chippewa; one daughter, Tammy Bacorn of New Castle; two sisters, Diane Altieri of Cannonsburg and Ester Wert of Davidson, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Leeann Bacorn. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. John Yergan officiating.
