Karol P. Dogan, age 89 of Neshannock Twp., passed away the morning of July 10, 2020, at his residence. Born Oct. 9, 1930, in Farrell, PA, he was the son of the late Anté and Anna (Dzapo) Dogan. On Sept. 10, 2007, he married his beloved wife of 12 years, Suzanne (Snyder) Perelman. She survives at home. Karol served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of YSU, earning his bachelor's degree, and later enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed at Golden Dawn Foods/Peter J. Schmitt for many years as the VP of the data processing department. He then went onto retire from the Joy Cone Factory working in the Transportation/Logistics department. Karol enjoyed golfing, was a member of the Avalon, was a past president of Croatian American Civic Club of Farrell, PA., was a lifelong member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, and was a member of the VFW, Sharon Post #1338. What gave Karol the most joy in life was spending time with his family. Along with his wife, Suzanne, Karol is survived by one son, Gregg (Lori) Dogan of West Middlesex, PA, and his children, Matthew, Delaney and Ryan Dogan; and one daughter, Laurie Edes of Hermitage PA, and her children, William and Briana Edes. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
