Kathryn Myler, 88, of Copley, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 21st in Akron, Ohio.She was born in New Castle, February 9, 1924, to David and Anne Brest.After graduating from New Castle High School, she was employed as a telephone operator with Pennsylvania Bell Telephone for many years. In later years, she retired from the Pennsylvania Power Company.Married to William Myler for 53 years, he preceded her in death on September 14, 2008.A brother, Howard Brest also preceded her in 2010.She was a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.She is survived by two daughters, Lori, of Copley, and Kathy (John) Lyon of Wilmington, North Carolina. She was the grandmother of three; Holly Lyon of Collinsville, Illinois, Kristen (Julio) Ramirez of Lakewood, Colorado, and John Lyon of Castle Rock, Colorado.Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A brief service will follow with the Rev.
