Kathryn Carol Quear, 71, of 170 Dean Lane, Edinburg, passed away the evening of November 13, 2013 at Jameson Hospital. Born July 25, 1942 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Samuel J. and Kathryn Barber Fry. She was preceded in death in 2003 by her husband, Kenneth E. Quear, whom she married December 31, 1982. Carol was a graduate of Mt. Jackson High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, travel and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, Robert David Hellon, Jr. and his wife Lena, of Titusville, PA; one brother, Jay Fry; one sister, Jean Seth of New Castle; two grandchildren, Tonya Hellon and Robert David Hellon, III; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service, Saturday, November 16, 2013, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
