Kathy Ann Bender, age 66, passed away unexpectedly February 19, 2022, in New Castle, PA. She was born April 4, 1955, the only child of Dwight Forest Steele and Leola Grace Smith. In 1975 she married Douglas Bender of New Sewickley, later divorced. Together they had two children. Kathy has spent her last years in New Castle, working at Jameson Care Center. This work brought her most joy. Where lasting relationships were cherished of coworkers and residents. Where friends become family, Kathy was grateful to have the love & support of all those around her. Kathy is survived by her son and daughter, Doug (Melissa) Bender, Delphi, Indiana; Emily (Justin) Snyder, St. George, Utah; grandchildren Elijah & Madyson Bender, Delphi, Indiana; Nyah, Anastyn, Dax & Nova Snyder of St. George, Utah.
