Obituary

Kay Chamberlain, 65, of Neshannock Twp. passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh with her husband and children at her side.Kay was born on Nov. 20, 1946 to the late Frank W. and Wanda Whitmore Turner. She married Charles " Chip" Chamberlain on Feb. 7th, 1970. He survives.Kay was a 1964 graduate of New Castle High School. She was a homemaker, a lifelong member of First Christian Church of New Castle and former Rainbow advisor. She liked crossword puzzles and watching television especially the Andy Griffith show but most of all she adored her grandchildren. They were her life and she was their protector. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.Kay is survived by her husband, two daughters and sons-in-law Joy and Jason Hill and Michelle and Pat Fee; a brother, Frank C. and his wife Ruth Turner; and two grandchildren Michael Hill and Sabrina Fee all of New Castle. She is also survived by several cousins from New Castle, Brookfield Ohio and Indiana.Kay was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral home and Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Rd., New CastleA funeral service will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Jillson officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to the Neshannock Volunteer Fire Company, 3135 Mercer Rd., New Castle Pa. 16105.
