Kenneth W. Boyles, 92, of New Castle, PA passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at his winter home in Estero Florida. He was born on October 14, 1923 in New Castle, a son of the late Howard and Hazel (Michael) Boyles. He was baptized at Rich Hill Presbyterian Church. He graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1941 and married his high school sweetheart, Mary Virginia Barron on November 24, 1944. Kenneth was a retired dairy farmer and a rural letter carrier. He had been a member of the Lions Club, the Rural Letter Carriers Association and the Hickory Township volunteer fire department. He was a member of Faith Country Chapel, and the Wilson Bible Class for many years. He enjoyed spending time pitching horseshoes and playing shuffleboard. He competed in many senior games both at the state and national level, winning numerous medals. He will be remembered for his strong Christian faith, his honesty, integrity, unique sense of humor and his great love of pies. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Ele) Baxter; five daughters, Karen Ford of Midlothian TX, Claudia (Lloyd) Pickell of Manheim PA, Megan Lane of Seattle WA, Ginny Boyles of New Castle, and Wendy (William) Wojcik of New Castle; six granddaughters, Lisa Ward, Julie Ollar, Rachel Albin, Kristy Carrington, Amy Johnson, and Katie Cameron; two grandsons, Christopher Wojcik, and Mathew Wojcik, 15 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ralph E. Boyles of Carpentersville, IL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Virginia Barron, his second wife, Barbara Scarnati, his sister Ruth Hall, and his son-in-law Glenn Randle Ford. Visitation will be held at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. located at 2429 Wilmington Road, on Thursday, December 10th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Faith Country Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
