Kenneth R. Hunt, age 65, of New Castle, passed away the morning of March 22, 2016 at Jameson Hospital. Born December 16, 1950 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Richard C. and Mary Lou Brockway Hunt. Surviving at home is his husband, Gary F. Shaffer, whom he married on December 22, 2014. Kenneth was employed with a Musik Innovations in Wexford, PA. He was passionate about the opera, attending as frequently as he could and listening to opera music daily. He was preceded in death by his parents. In keeping with Kenneth's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Metropolitan Opera or the Pittsburgh Opera.
