Kenneth C. Magee, 69, passed away the night of August 18, 2014 at Butler Memorial Hospital.Born October 11, 1944 in Ellwood City, PA, he was a son of Thomas Dale Magee and Lucy E. McElwain Magee.Surviving at home is his wife of 44 years, Barbara Schuller Magee, whom he married June 5, 1970.Ken served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967.He was employed with American Recycled Pallet and was also the milk processor with Schiever Dairy Farm.Among his many interests were reading, puzzles, hooking rugs, and model cars.He was a charter member of Portersville Bible Church.In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Beverly Magee; one son, Jonathan Magee; two brothers, James C. Magee and Larry B. Magee, Sr.; one sister, Sarah L. Magee; and one nephew, Larry B. Magee, Jr.He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev. Mike Charles. Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
