Kenneth W. Ruppersberger, age 65, of New Castle, passed away suddenly from a brief illness, the morning of March 29, 2023.

Born June 21, 1957, in New Castle, he was the son of William and Frances (Bissell) Ruppersberger.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Laura (Gossett) Ruppersberger, whom he married on Jan. 2, 1982.

Kenneth was a graduate of Union High School. He recently retired from Resco Products. Kenneth was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan. What gave him the most joy, was spending time with his family, especially cheering on his grandchildren, at their sporting events and activities.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by one daughter, Allyson (Matthew) Carney of New Castle, PA; one son, Jason (Athena) Whitmore, of New Castle, PA; one brother, David (Mary) Ruppersberger, of Pittsburgh, PA; two nieces, Olivia and Ava Ruppersberger, both of Pittsburgh, PA; seven grandchildren, Alex, Hannah, Gabe, Cooper, Joey, Courtney, and Alexandra; and two great-grandchildren, Micah and Laela.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Richard Ruppersberger.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31st from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
