Kevin William Kurek, age 42 of New Castle, passed away the evening of Oct. 28, 2021, at his residence. Born March 21, 1979, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he is the son of William Kurek and Deborah (Steve) (Connolly) Frawley. On July 30, 2021, he married his beloved wife, Brittany (Polding) Kurek. She survives at home. Kevin worked as an HVAC supervisor at Central Heating & Plumbing. He was a baseball coach for New Wilmington and Youth Baseball Association. Kevin was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. What gave him the most joy in life, was spending time with his family, and riding with the Barnes family. In addition to his parents and wife, Kevin is survived by one son, Leoghain Leigh Kurek of Houston, TX; three stepsons, Braidin Evan Kind, Chase Allan Kind and Hayden Zander Kind, all of New Castle, PA; one sister, Rachel (Daniel) Devine of Murrysville, PA; nieces Emma & Zoey Devine; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his beloved pit bulls, Joker and Harley. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held Wed. Nov. 3rd, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will be held on Thurs. Nov. 4th at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. The family requests that those attending both the visitation and services, wear Harley Davidson and or New Wilmington attire.
