Koa (aka Bean), August 24 2014 - October 2 2026, was my first dog as an adult. German Shepherd Belgian Malinois mix that spent 12 years with me and our family. He was loyal, kind, protective, loving, and the biggest baby most of the time. He was my source of comfort and peace during all the difficult times I experienced after my time in the Marine Corps and with life in general. Always by my side to annoy me until I pet him or let him outside. Let me know anytime someone pulled in or when there was a squirrel or deer in the yard. Loved car rides, ice cubes, chuck-it balls, and swimming. Taken from us by cancer, but was still full of life and love until the very end. You'll forever be missed and never forgotten.
