Larry W. Hardesty, 73, of New Castle, passed away December 16, 2014 at his residence. Born May 9, 1941 in Bessemer, Pa, he was a son of Harry and Roxanna Henry Hardesty. Larry was a graduate of both Mohawk High School and Geneva College and was employed with Carlan as a controller. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed Nascar and Bocce. Survivors include his daughter, Jill Montemagno of Sevierville, Tenn; two sons, Bryan Hardesty of Bradenton, FL, and Mark Hardesty of Sevierville, Tenn; four grandchildren; and his companion, Thelma Dando. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held yesterday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and were officiated by Rev.
