Larry Mumford, 77, of Washington, PA, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022.

He was born March 22, 1945, in New Castle and was a 1963 graduate of New Castle High School.

He was the son of the late Roy and Pauline Mumford. He is survived by his beloved wife Lynne (Houk) Mumford, his sons Larry Jr. (Chrissy) of North Huntingdon and Jason (Rachel) of Canonsburg. Five grandchildren, Claire, Colton, Paige, Brooklyn and Jordan Mumford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Terry and nephews, Rodney and Douglas Mumford.

He was an avid golfer and took pride in winning the annual New Castle News golf tourney three times among other local tournaments. He loved spending time with his sons and grandkids.
