Laurena LaJean Wheeler, age 35, of New Galilee, PA, passed away the evening of Aug. 26, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born Oct. 29, 1988, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of Donald Wheeler and Amy (Roxberry) Wheeler.

Laurena attended New Wilmington Area School District and graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping, planting flowers and riding 4 wheelers. She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing. Laurena loved all animals, especially her dog "Zeus". Most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her children, family, and friends.

Survivors include her mother, Amy; her three children, Nicholas, Gunner and Keira Kaylor; fiancé Joshua Hulton; and two brothers, Brandon Wheeler and Brian Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by her father and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Sat. Sept. 7th from 2:00 PM –4:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Jordan Rimmer of Northminster Presbyterian Church officiating.
