Leonard E. Leasure, age 78, of Edinburg, PA, passed away the afternoon of August 30, 2025, at Quality Life Services.
Born November 14, 1946, in Rochester Mills, PA, he was the son of Earl and Arveda (Walker) Leasure.
Leonard was a press operator for EASCO Company until his retirement. Among his varied interests were hunting, fishing, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Leonard was also an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen (Phil) Micco, Lisa (Duane) DeHass and Denise (Tim) Moore, all of New Castle; two sons, Leonard (Amy) Leasure, Jr. of Edinburg and Brian (Jessica) Leasure of Pulaski; three sisters, Bernice MacElroy of Franklin, NY, Frances Stauffer of Greenbelt, MD and Freda Martino of Walston, PA; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Paula, he was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Ray, Floyd, Clair, Vernon and Bill; and two sisters, Hazel Bell and Wyonetta McGinnis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
