Leslie C. "Chuck" Bartley,age 62, of Eastbrook Road, New Castle, passed away the morning of February 4. 2015 in Pittsburgh, PA, He was the son of the late Irl and Alice Palmer Bartley. His mother survives him in New Castle. He is survived by his wife, Diane Cline Bartley, who he married on May 11, 1974. He attended Laurel High School and graduated from Vo-Tech. Leslie retired in 2014 as an employee of Praxis Acquisition as an inspector, prior to that he was employed for 30 plus years as a laborer for New Castle Foundry. Among his interests were hunting, yard work, gardening, and most of all Leslie enjoyed taking care of his family. He was a member of the Neshannock United Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by one daughter, Amy Bartley of New Castle; one son, Cory Bartley of New Castle; two brothers, David Bartley and John Bartley both of New Castle; one sister, Sharon Smith of New Castle and 4 grandchildren, Mariah, Olivia, Nicholas, and Matthew. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Ann Bartley. A private memorial service will take place at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, with the Rev. Robert Stroebel officiating. Burial will be at the Neshannock Cemetery.
