Lewis M. Cover, age 98 of Union Twp., passed away the evening of May 26, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born July 8, 1922, in Mahoning Twp., he was the son of the late Merle O. and Lillian (Aeppli) Cover. He married Shirley (Hunt) Cover. She survives at home. Lewis enlisted in the United States Army where he faithfully served his country. For several years he worked as a meter reader, employed by Columbia Gas Company. Lewis enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Darleen (Ron) Rizzo of New Castle, PA; one son, Larry L. (Shirley) Cover of El Dorado Hills, CA; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. In keeping with his wishes there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
