Lillian Louise Thurber, age 82, passed away January 7, 2026, at Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in New Wilmington.

Born April 21, 1943, in Sharon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Susan (Sulek) Chalupka.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton E. Thurber, whom she married April 18, 1964.

A graduate of Farrell High School, Lillian was a homemaker, raising her three children.

She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sharon and enjoyed time spent with her family, especially being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Among her other interests, Lillian often liked to play Bingo.

She is survived by one daughter, Debra L. (Robert) Campbell of New Wilmington; two sons, Timothy P. Thurber of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Steven E. Thurber of West Middlesex, PA and; two brothers, Mike Chalupka of Sharpsville, PA and Ronald Chalupka of Hermitage, PA; two sisters, Dorothy Goncz of Grove City, PA and Suellen Burns of Sharpsville, PA; five grandchildren, Timothy (Angel) Thurber, Burdetta (George)) Strawbridge, Wayne Thurber and Brady and Cody Campbell; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanie Edell and Pauline Kretchek.

In keeping with her wishes, all services will be held privately.
