Linda May Robison, age 71, of New Castle, passed away the morning of March 1, 2023, at UPMC Jameson Hospital, after an extended illness.

Born May 19, 1951, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Wilbur T. and Elsie L. (McCreary) Robison.

Linda was a graduate of Shenango High School in 1969 and received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Jacksonville University. She was a registered nurse with St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown and finished her career with The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, Ohio. Linda was passionate about her love for nursing and helping others.

In addition to her other interests and hobbies, Linda also had a love specifically for airedale dogs.

She is survived by one sister, Kathy S. Lane of New Castle; four nieces, Valerie (Lane) McCutcheon and husband Mike of Virginia, Rebecca (Lane) Hooks and husband Steven of New Castle, Laurie (Wright) Baker and husband Randy of Boiling Springs, SC, and Leslie (Wright) Jamison and husband Jay of Pittsburgh, PA; three great nieces and one great nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Anne L. Wright-Olexsak.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Westfield Presbyterian Cemetery.
