Lisa Michelle Kotch, age 49, of New Castle, passed away the morning of August 7, 2018, at her residence. Born July 21, 1969, in Hazleton, Pa., she is the daughter of Edward Balliet, Jr., and Janet (Schaeffer) Balliet. She married Christopher T. Kotch on July 25, 1992. Lisa graduated from Hazleton Sr. High School in 1987. She then graduated from Geisinger School of Nursing and later graduated from Chamberlain University with her Bachelor's Degree. Lisa excelled in her career as an RN. She loved crafts, scrapbooking, Disney and traveling. She was a member of Eastbrook Presbyterian Church where she was active in vacation bible school and after school Tuesday Live bible school program. What gave Lisa the most joy in life, was her family. Along with her parents and husband, Lisa is survived by three sons; Benjamin T. Kotch, Alexander P. Kotch and Nathaniel E. Kotch, all of New Castle, two brothers; Matthew S. Balliet and Bryce Balliet, two sisters; Mckayla R. Balliet and Kylianne Balliet, all of Drums, Pa. Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 11th, from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will immediately follow visitation at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jason Schepp of Eastbrook Presbyterian Church, officiating.
