Lois B. Kulsic, 82, formerly of Avalon Place, passed away the evening of November 13, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.
Born August 14, 1936 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Arthur and Margaretta (Stotler) Bratschie.
She was preceded in death on October 22, 2004 by her husband of 25 years, Stanley A. Kulsic, whom she married June 30, 1979.
Lois was a 1954 graduate of New Castle High School. She was employed for 32 years with Universal Rundle as an executive secretary until her retirement.
She was a volunteer at Jameson Hospital and enjoyed card club, Bingo and puzzles. Lois was a life-time member of Northminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Allen Bruce and her companion Mike Eidson of Power Springs, Georgia; a son, John Allen of New Castle; a step-daughter, Cathy (Curtis) Henry of Jacksonville, FL; a step-son, Mark (Beth) Kulsic of Monongahela, PA; one sister, Ardith (David) Jones of Burlington, VT; three grandchildren, Margaux Pinciotti of Power Springs, GA, Jon Kulsic of Statesboro, GA and Sydney Kulsic of Monongahela, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews from all over the country.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Clara Ann and Bill Salzman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A one hour visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2434 Wilmington Road, New Castle with a service at 11:00. The Rev. Jordan Rimmer will be officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
