Lois M. Skuta, age 87, of Neshannock Twp., passed away the evening of June 1, 2024, at UPMC Mercy.

Born Dec. 30, 1936, in Munhall, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford McKee and Hilda Esther (Anderson) Croco.

Lois was a 1954 graduate of New Castle High School. She worked as an office administrator for Bankers Life & Casualty until her retirement. Lois was a member of the American Businesswomen's Association, the Ladies Auxiliary of BPOE, and PFLAG – Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. Lois organized and established the first chapter of PFLAG in Lawrence County. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Mark C. Skuta of Pittsburgh, PA, and Clifford B. Skuta (Marcos Alves) of Washington, DC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former spouse Ludwig Skuta, and two brothers, Donald F. Croco and Richard M. Croco.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be offered to the donor's choice, in Lois' honor.
