Lois L. Boyd Weatherby, 89, formerly of Mill Bridge Road, passed away the morning of October 20, 2010 in Jameson Hospital.Born October 7, 1921 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Gareth and Anna Margaret Myers Boyd. She married Frank Weatherby who preceded her in death.She was a graduate of Princeton High School and was a designer with Shenango China for forty years.Mrs. Weatherby was a member of Princeton Memorial Presbyterian Church.Survivors include one step-son, Wayne Weatherby of New Castle; one sister-in-law; Louise Boyd of Portersville; three nieces, Kathryn (Kay) Dean of New Castle, Jean (Ron) McClymonds of Pittsburgh and Susan L. (William) Ayres; two nephews, John (Ruth) Tonder of Glen Burnie, MD and Joseph (Terry) Boyd of Portersville; and one step granddaughter.In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Tonder and one brother, Joseph Boyd.Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, October 22, 2010, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Wigley will officiate.
