December 9, 1926 - November 2, 2018 I gave them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand John 10:28 ESV Loise passed peacefully from this earth in her sleep on November 2nd 2018. A daughter of the southwest, she was born December 9, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Alice and Weldon Paige. As a young woman, she was a fashion model in Manhattan and in Arizona before marrying the love of her life, Lt Col Frank Harvan in 1957. They recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. She loved to travel and was especially fond of the southwest with Santa Barbara as her favorite spot. Loise is remembered as a kind and loving person that lived her Christian faith as she was always ready to give to others. She loved animals, raising poodles, which she adored. Active in the community she was a member of the New Castle Womens league and Junior Guild, serving as a volunteer at Jameson Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents Alice and Weldon, she is survived by her husband Frank, their three children Chris (Barbara), John, and Meredith (Ramona), and grandchildren Matthew, Malecia, and Deanna, plus 7 great grandchildren and 6 great, great, grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road and Wednesday from 10-11 AM at Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church, 220 Clen-Moore Blvd., New Castle.
