Lori Kay Carbone, age 64, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of December 9, 2023, at Jameson Care Center.

Born March 18, 1959, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Terry and Dorothy (Snyder) McClelland.

A graduate of Laurel High School, Lori was self employed as a hairdresser. Among her many interests, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and crafts. Most importantly she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She was a member of Calvary Independent Church.

Surviving is her husband, Daniel Carbone; her father, Terry (May) McClelland; two sons, Rob (Angela) Vogan of Pickerington, Ohio and Richard Vogan of New Castle; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Camden, Evelyn and Sophie.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Randall McClelland.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 14, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Chuck Gavroy and Pastor Parker Stilly officiating.

Burial will be in Rich Hill Cemetery.
