Lorraine D. McKibben-Pullium, age 88, of New Castle, passed away the evening of June 13, 2025, at UPMC Shadyside, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born August 20, 1936, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hugh E. and Charlotte (Cummings) Forbes, Sr.

In 1973, Lorraine married her husband, Edmond McKibben, who preceded her in death on August 19, 2008.

Lorraine was a graduate of East Lawrence High School in Plain Grove. In her lifetime she worked several different jobs including Fishers Big Wheel, Harlansburg Tack Shop, where she was part-owner, Castleview Memorial Gardens where she worked as the office manager, and lastly J.C. Penny where she worked in Bridal Registry as a Gift Consultant. Among her many interests and hobbies, Lorraine was a member of the Liberty Grange, 4H Leader, Cub Scout Mother, and Family Gospel Trio. She was an accomplished organist. She was a member of New Covenant EPC Church.

Survivors include her five sons, Jack L. Pullium of Tucson, AZ, Donald E. Pullium of Kennesaw, GA, Douglas D. (LuAnn) Pullium of New Castle, PA, Gaylord B. Pullium of Lexington, NC, and Paul E. Pullium, of New Castle, PA; her first husband, Paul E. Pullium; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and second husband, Edmond, she was preceded in death by one sister, Marlyn Ferguson and one brother, Hugh Forbes, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately after visitation at 1:00 PM with Pastor Don Hurray, of New Covenant EPC Church, officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
