Lucille M. Hester, 86, of 22 W. Clen-Moore Blvd., passed away the morning of October 27, 2010 in Greenbriar Nursing Home, Boardman, Ohio.Born September 2, 1924 in New Castle, she was a daughter of S. Ellsworth and Glendora McCurdy Moore. She married Robert J. Hester on March 19, 1949. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1992.She was a graduate of New Castle High School.Lucille was a legal secretary for many years serving the final eight years of her career with the Pennsylvania Workman's Compensation Department. She was a member of the Bessemer Women's Club, the Bessemer Senior Citizens Club, and the Lawrence County Homemakers. She was a volunteer with hospice and Habitat for Humanity and was active with the Jameson Sewing Group. She formerly, along with her husband, was involved with NAARF.She was a member of Bessemer Presbyterian Church where she was an elder, a deacon and active with the church quilting group. She volunteered at the church for the Bessemer Rotary Club dinners held there.Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Janet M.and Ed Krisuk of Edinburg, PA; and two grandchildren, Matthew Krisuk and Michael Krisuk.In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one sister, Marie Brenneman and one half-sister, Margaret Nealer.Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will take place on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev.
